Pretty In London: Made In Chelsea

Chelsea – the people are posh and the streets are lush!! What an amazing area and one of my absolute faves. As you explore these magnificent streets you are immediately surrounded by the cosmopolitan and casual atmosphere, seemingly lost in a swirl of trendy boutiques and perfectly polished homes. For those of you who have been it may bring back memories of Cannes, which happens to be Chelsea’s ‘Sister City’!! With this eclectic mix of cute shops, boutiques and majestic homes, you can literally have the best of social and home within less than a mile of each other. Take a walk down some of the side streets, go off that beaten track and your sure to find some hidden gems; here are some of the hot spots we found as we embarked on our latest adventure one quintessentially British rainy Saturday:

Enjoy xx

Pretty little balconies along gorgeous white homes seem to be a dream.

It’s almost a thing in London to have a bold statement colour on your front door <3

Perfectly sculpted gardens are a dime a dozen.

I feel in love with the streets <3

The lovely Borough of Chelsea

The ivy intertwined on some of these homes is simply stunning.

This street was absolutely adorable with its cottage style homes, I felt I was away in the country.

Two very cute cottage style homes. Absolutely adorable <3

My favourite part of the day was finding these gorgeous Hydrangeas in one of the cottage gardens. #Dreamy

As you can see I’m a very happy girl. Hydrangeas are my favourite flower and happen to be my wedding flower. 🙂

This stunning shop is all kinds of mouth watering. I highly recommend checking it out for the sweet lover.

I’m not normally a coffee drinker but I couldn’t resist this latte. Venchi makes there own Ice Cream and coffee can you believe it! The Ice Cream is out of this world delicious, you can literally taste the freshness.

Got Milk!??? 😉

How cute is the decor!? It’s like something out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! 🙂

I think I fainted and went to candy heaven! 🙂

SCRUMPTIOUS!!!! 🙂

Baywater Street – This is literally colour wonderland. It’s all kinds of pretty.

I choose you Ms Pink! <3 <3 <3

These two houses were definitely my top two favourites. The bright colours are all that and more.

A little bit of the country in the city can’t hurt nobody. xx

After a day of exploring and constant photographing he never once complained. Am I blessed or what! <3

If you guys have any other places in London you’d like us to check out and review let us know!! We would love to add to our growing list and let you know what we discover… xx

Pretty in London: Victoria

Not long ago I mentioned I would take advantage of my free time this summer and explore some of London’s sweet spots. So, after church Mike and I decided to take a stroll down the luxurious streets that surround London Victoria. On our travels we bumped into some stunning little gems that we just had to share with you all.

Here are a few snaps from our eventful day.

Enjoy! x

Peggy Porschen – not only are their treat’s divine but their decor is like something out of a fairytale, very girly and super whimsical – it is well worth a visit!!

Boisdale – I’m not normally a huge fan of red but this restaurant popped out at me. Loved the contrast of red amongst the soft white buildings.

There are so many hidden boutiques across the city. Great for the fashion lover.

Just taking in the beauty of the streets <3 London.

The arcitecture never gets old.

I can’t get over how beautiful this city is. Centurys old and still making a name for itself.

Another beautiful doorway. Surely a picture moment 😉

Me again 🙂

Haven’t seen this beauty in a month, I think a little PDA won’t hurt nobody 😉

Is his smile contagious or what!?. x

Keep posted as we explore more pretty places around London this summer.

We would love to hear any recommendations if you are living in London or know any interesting places.

London In Bloom

When the rose bush attempts to pull you in 😉 lol…admiring these beautiful pink Roses in full bloom just off Lavender Hill in Clapham

This city is absolutely gorgeous and I’m making it my mission to capture just some of it’s beauty this summer.

You just have to walk a little off the beaten track and you will fined yourself immersed in the gorgeous displays of flowers and ivy that intertwine so many of London’s homes.

This summer I will take you on a journey of just a few of these hidden gems as I wander London’s streets with my trusty cameraman. I would love for you to join me…enjoy!!

Summer activities in London

June is here and summer is literally around the corner!! Just take a minute and absorb those summer vibes…what will you be up to this season?

Wherever you are there’s always something fresh and exciting going on from brilliant outdoor events to enjoying a refreshing glass of prosecco at an amazing rooftop bar, laughing with friends as you soak up the summer sun.

For me there is no place I’d rather be than London in the summer – there is always something happening or some new place to explore!! This city, normally known for its hustle and bustle lifestyle, has such remarkably beautiful gardens that just burst into a tantalising sea of colour as summer approaches. From the grounds of Hampton Court to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew – there are so many gems that are just waiting for you to step out and explore!! And what better way to finish off a bit of exploration than with a glass of prosecco at one of London’s beautiful roof top bars, such as Madison’s at One New Change.

As we enter the summer months we will be checking out some of these amazing gardens and venues and giving you our first hand accounts of our experiences. Hope you enjoy and if you’re in London and want some pointers please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Have an amazing summer…what will you be up to?

Stay blessed,

Mel x

P.s. If at any point you thought to yourself…what about that unpredictable British weather? You’re certainly not alone but surely that just adds to the excitement; reach into that inner child and start dancing in the rain!!

Ms Taylor is all kinds of beautiful.

Maddox Gallery beautiful inside and out.

Just admiring.
